Description
Marathon Primathon Sheen is a high-build zinc phosphate sheen primer. It is ideally suited to exposed steelwork in agricultural/industrial buildings or structures where a topcoat is not necessary. Its sheen characteristics give Primathon Sheen increased UV protection, maintaining a consistent finish, ideally suited to exposed surfaces.

Additional Information
Surface Preparation: All surfaces to be clean, dry and free of contamination. Blast clean steel to SA 2½ or apply to undamaged, compatible primer.
Typical Paint System: 2 x 50 μm (DFT)? Primathon Sheen. Other systems may be specified, depending on area of use.
Typical Use: Anti-corrosive primer for steel in moderate, non-aggressive environments, where a topcoat is not necessary.
Application: Temperature of substrate should be a minimum of 3°C above the dew point, ideally 18°C - 21°C. Preferably applied with airless spray for maximum coverage, but Primathon Sheen may also be sprayed conventionally, brushed or rolled.
Airless spray: Recommended (15-19 thou tip; pressure 2500 psi)
Brush and Roller: Recommended
