Polishing Foam Pads - Yellow Flat and Yellow Waffle
A polishing pad with medium density hardness and waffle shape. The durable reticulated foam has an excellent elasticity. The waffle shape has an optimised pattern which improves the cutting performance and reduces the surface temperature during the polishing process. The pad is designed to be used in combination with Mirka Polishing Compounds, for both cutting with Polarshine 15 and polishing with Polarshine 10 and 8. The foam pad is suitable for all kinds of polishing processes: paintworks in ART, Marine and Wood sectors as well as Vehicle and Tier1.
Polishing Foam Pads, Black Flat and Black Waffle
A reticulated flat foam pad for hologram removal gives an excellent finishing on both fresh and fully cured paint works. The good balance between elasticity and density in the foam contributes to the final result. The pad are designed to be used in combination with Polarshine finishing compounds F05, VF5 and with Polarshine 3 Nano wax.
Polishing Foam Pad, Orange Waffle
A reticulated foam has an excellent balance in elasticity and softness which remains during usage, and is available as waffle shape structured. The waffle shape has an optimised pattern which gives an improved cutting performance with long life and reduces the surface temperature during polishing. The orange foam is softer than our yellow foam and leaves a better gloss and less holograms. Well suitable for softer clear coats and paints to achieve a perfect finish in one step process for vehicle and Tier 1 applications. For wood high gloss the orange waffle pad is ideal for the second polishing step in order to get an increased gloss level and to remove holograms. The pad is especially well suited for darker colours or softer paints and lacquers. The pads are designed to be used for polishing in combination with Polarshine polishing compounds 12, 10 and 8.
Polishing Foam Pad, White Retic
A flat hard white foam pad, designed for OEM applications and mainly to be used with the Mirka ROP2-312NV polisher. The foam pad is produced from reticulated foam, which is more stable and gives a faster cut and a longer lifetime. The pad cools down faster after polishing, which enables the pad to keep the stable and rigid structure.
