Description

Rust-Oleum Dac Hydro Plus is a water based roof tile paint. Provides excellent resistance against weathering, an aesthetic and durable decorative finish.

Additional Information

Surface Preparation: After a good cleaning with pure water under high pressure (200 bars), all substrates have to be dry, clean, not chalking and normally absorbent (untreated roof tiles). Apply an anti fungicidal solution such as FK111 for removal of moss, etc.

Substrate Primer Topcoat

Concrete tiles - 2 coats (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t.)

Fibrous tiles (porous) - Weathered Eternit* Pegafix or Primer 44HS 2 coats (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t.)

Fibre tiles (new) – New Eternit - 2 coats (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t.)

Slate tiles Primer 44HS or Pegafix 2 coats (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t.)

Terracotta tiles, concrete tiles type Primer 44HS 2 lagen (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t.)

Redland, fully weathered and/or very porous

Very dense substrates Noxyde diluted with 2 coats (35 μm + 25 μm d.f.t. 25% water

* It is not recommended

to apply Dac Hydro Plus on artificial slates of the Eternit type that are too strongly deteriorated. In order to verify, please check the mechanical stability of the surface after cleaning with a sharp knife or a screwdriver. If the fibres come loose, the surface can not be coated and needs to renewed.

It is recommended to always perform an adhesion test.

Typical Use: Dac-Hydro-Plus renovates and protects in a durable way concrete and terracotta roof tiles).

Application: T > 8°C, relative humidity max. 80%. Do not apply in full sun.

Brush: Apply undiluted

Roller: Apply undiluted

Air-atomised spray: Not recommended

Airless spray: Dilute with max. 3% of water

Nozzle: 009 - 013 / Pressure: 140 – 180 bars

Cleanup: Water
