Manufacturer: Sayerlack
Description
AM546 is a single-pack waterborne impregnating basecoat suitable for hardwoods & softwoods exposed to the outdoor environment such as conservatories and other joinery applications. The special formulation of AM546 ensures limited formation of darker spots near the head grain, and limited creation of grey areas on the overabsorption areas on softwoods such as spruce and hemlock. We advise it is stirred well before use, because of the harmonizing ingredients used AM0546 can tend to create a soft sediment if left for longer periods of time.
- Excellent clarity
- Good harmonising properties

Surface Preparation
Carefully clean the surface of the wood, which is to be well dried (14-16% humidity) and free from grease, wax or resin traces. Waterborne products tend to raise the wood fibre and produce rough surfaces. A thorough sanding is particularly important: we recommend progressive sanding with 120-150-180 grit sanding papers.
Typical Paint System
First coat of AM546 and then AZ97
